We remove and dispose of all old shingles and underlayment. If any roof decking is damaged, we replace it to ensure a solid foundation for your new roof.
Synthetic Underlayment
We install high-performance adhesive synthetic underlayment that creates a tight seal around the decking, shingles, and nails — offering superior moisture and wind protection.
Shingles & Ventilation
We install Class 3 or better impact-rated shingles designed to withstand hail and Texas sun, plus UV-rated rubberized vent boots and ridge vents for lasting durability.

Everything Texas Homeowners Ask About Roofing
Honest, detailed answers to the questions we hear most from homeowners across Austin, Houston, Katy, The Woodlands, and the surrounding areas.
Yes, 100% free with no obligation. We inspect your entire roof surface for storm damage, wear, cracked or missing shingles, deteriorating flashing, and vent boot failures. We also go into your attic to check for signs of leaks, moisture, or inadequate ventilation. You'll get an honest written assessment — if your roof is fine, we'll tell you. No pressure, no upsell.
For asphalt shingle roofs, expect $5,000–$7,500 per 1,000 square feet depending on your area and material selection. Standard markets like Round Rock and Kyle run $5,000–$6,000, while affluent areas like Lakeway and Bee Cave typically run $7,500–$9,000 due to larger homes and premium material preferences. Metal roofing runs $8,000–$13,000 per 1,000 square feet. The average Central Texas home (1,800–2,200 sq ft roof) costs between $9,000 and $16,500 for a full asphalt replacement including tear-off, new underlayment, and impact-resistant shingles.
Most asphalt shingle roofs are completed in a single day. Larger or steeper homes may take two days. Metal roof installations typically take 2–3 days. Tile roof repairs depend on scope but can take up to 4 days. We schedule around weather — Central Texas spring storms and summer heat both affect timing, so we plan accordingly and communicate any delays.
Central Texas demands impact-resistant, UV-stable materials. We install Class 3 and Class 4 impact-rated shingles — specifically GAF Timberline HDZ, GAF Timberline UHDZ, IKO Cambridge, IKO Dynasty, and Tamko XT. These shingles are engineered to resist hail damage, withstand 130+ mph winds, and handle sustained 100°F+ temperatures without curling or cracking. For maximum durability, we recommend Galvalume standing seam metal roofing from Sheffield Metals — it reflects solar heat, resists hail, and can last 40–60 years in Texas conditions.
Yes. Through our financing partner Acorn Finance, you can explore multiple loan offers from competing lenders and choose the payment plan that fits your budget. Pre-qualification takes just minutes online and does not affect your credit score. Options include low monthly payments, deferred interest plans, and terms from 1–12 years. This makes it possible to get a quality roof now without waiting.
We provide a 5-year limited warranty on all labor and installation. As a GAF Certified Contractor, we can offer enhanced manufacturer warranties that most roofers cannot: the GAF System Plus Warranty (covers the full roofing system), StainGuard Plus Algae Protection Limited Warranty (prevents black streaking), and WindProven Limited Wind Warranty (no maximum wind speed limitation when installed with specific accessories). All standard manufacturer warranties also convey to you as the homeowner.
Yes. Central Texas sees significant hail activity, especially during spring storm season (March–June). If you suspect hail damage, call us for a free inspection. We'll document all damage with photos and measurements, provide a detailed scope of work, and assist you through the insurance claim process. We work directly with your insurance adjuster to ensure nothing is missed. Important: file your claim promptly — most Texas homeowners' policies have a one-year deadline from the date of the storm to file.
Key signs you need a full replacement: your roof is 15–20+ years old, you see widespread granule loss in gutters, multiple shingles are curling, cracking, or missing, there's sagging or soft spots in the decking, or you've had recurring leaks in different areas. Signs a repair may suffice: isolated missing shingles from wind, a single leak around a pipe boot or flashing, or minor storm damage in one area. During our free inspection, we'll give you an honest recommendation — we won't push a replacement if a repair will solve the problem.
Fall (September–November) and spring (March–May) are ideal — temperatures are moderate and rain is less frequent. Summer installations are common but require early morning starts to avoid peak heat, which can affect shingle adhesion and crew safety. Winter is also viable in Texas since we rarely see extended freezes. The reality is that roofs can be replaced year-round here, and storm damage doesn't wait for good weather. If you need a roof, don't delay — we'll schedule around conditions.
Yes. The City of Austin and most Central Texas municipalities require a building permit for roof replacements. In Austin, permits are typically pulled through the Austin Building Services department. Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, and other Williamson County cities have their own permitting offices. We handle all permit paperwork as part of every job — it's included, not an extra charge. Some HOAs also require an Architectural Control Committee (ACC) approval before work begins, and historic districts in Georgetown, San Antonio, and Bastrop have additional review requirements.
GAF is North America's largest roofing manufacturer. To become GAF Certified, a contractor must be properly licensed and insured, maintain a proven reputation, and commit to ongoing training. Only about 7% of roofing contractors nationwide hold this certification. The direct benefit to you: GAF Certified Contractors can offer enhanced warranty coverage that standard roofers simply cannot, including the System Plus Warranty, StainGuard Plus, and WindProven warranties. It means your roof is installed to GAF's exact specifications by a trained, vetted crew.
Impact ratings are determined by UL 2218 testing, which drops steel balls onto shingles. Class 3 shingles withstand a 1.75-inch steel ball (simulating moderate hail), while Class 4 withstands a 2-inch ball (large hail). In Central Texas, we recommend Class 3 at minimum — most of our installs use Class 3 or better. Many Texas insurance companies offer premium discounts of 10–35% for homes with Class 4 impact-rated roofs, which can offset the small cost difference over the life of the roof. We install both and can help you decide which makes financial sense for your situation.
Both are excellent choices for Central Texas. Asphalt shingles cost $5,000–$7,500 per 1,000 sq ft, last 20–30 years, and come in dozens of colors and profiles. They're the most popular choice for residential roofing. Metal roofing costs $8,000–$13,000 per 1,000 sq ft but lasts 40–60 years, reflects solar heat (reducing cooling costs by 10–25%), and handles hail and wind better than most shingle products. Metal is ideal for Hill Country homes, ranch properties, and homeowners planning to stay long-term. We install both and can walk you through the pros and cons for your specific home and budget.
In most cases, yes. We carry and can source all major brands and colors of architectural shingles. However, shingles weather and fade over time, so an exact color match on older roofs isn't always possible. For small repairs, the color difference is usually minimal. For larger areas, we'll discuss your options honestly — sometimes it makes more sense to replace an entire slope for a consistent look rather than patch a large section that won't match. We'll always give you straightforward options so you can decide.
